If you didn't see this, you're in for a LAUGH!

This was so hysterical- Joaquin Phoenix on Letterman. The worst interview ever- this guy is messed up!

Name that seminary video actor!

True, he is a Mormon. Just not such a good one anymore.

A perfect record.

So, the season of basketballing is officially OVER. Praises be, I never thought it would end! It was actually fun- I enjoyed getting to know the girls and spending some out of class time with them. But it would have been nice if it wasn't so much time! Practice every day after school for the past three months, plus Saturday mornings, and our games were at 7, which meant I didn't get home until about 9:30 on game days. But the good news is, we ended with a perfect record. O-11. The girls didn't really like it when I pointed that out, however. We usually got blown out, but we did come close a couple of times. One game we lost by 2 in overtime. It was our second to last game, and every single one of them was in tears. It was a heartbreaker. But, life goes on and hopefully next year will be better. Now they want me to help coach softball, but I'm going to find some way to weasel my way out of that one...

People I love.

During Christmas break I got to see my dear friend Jocelyn and her daughter Erin. I met Jocelyn when I was a missionary in Florida- we had an instant bond and have been friends ever since. She joined the church, and has overcome a lot of obstacles in her life. I love her and admire her so much and had the BEST time visiting with her. I haven't seen them in over 4 years! We went hiking at Red Rock and visited the Springs Preserve. SO FUN!

My family came down in the middle of January and we partied like it was 1999. It gets pretty cramped with all of us in my little apartment and no TV, but we had fun together. We went to the Shark Reef, ate some marvelous foods, got our picture in front of the Las Vegas sign, and went for a stroll on the strip to see the Bellagio waters and marvel at the architecture of the casinos. Well, Dad marveled. The rest of us took a glance or two. Needless to say, we had a super fun time, like always, and I hope they get to come down again soon!

We do love us some Cheesecake Factory. SO SO GOOD.

That's about it. We had a grand old time, and I can't wait for the next time. And suprise-they brought me a couch. So random, but now there are more places for butts to sit. Good good times... For the record, I love it when people come visit. So plan a trip to Vegas and come see me. FOR REAL.
